Headed out to the jetties this morning with calm seas and cool temperatures. The bull reds did not disappoint today here in Galveston.
Ran back to back 4 hour Galveston jetty trips today. Fishing was very slow but still managed to pull in some nice bull red fish, black drum, and trout.
Left out of Galveston Yacht Basin at 8:00 am with 5 anglers for a 4 hour jetty fishing trip. Caught 6 bull redfish and released 1 over 28 inches, stingray, a few keeper gafftopsail catfish, and as usual way too many hard head catfish.
The storm stirred up the waters and scattered the fish out. Left out of Galveston Yacht Basin at 1:30 pm for a near shore trip. It was a tough afternoon of fishing, but caught a 30 inch state water red snapper, gafftopsail catfish, and too many hard head catfish.

Headed out for a afternoon 6 hour jetty fishing trip with 6 anglers. Catch included 5 bull redfish, 1 jack, 2 black tip shark, gaftop catfish, stingray, and sand trout.
First trip of the day was a 6 hour near shore trip with two anglers. Stayed in state waters and caught 5 red snapper, 5 gaftop catfish, 1 blacktip shark, and 1 bull redfish.
